Our Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner is dedicated to advocating for mental health awareness and reducing the stigma around mental illness. As a practitioner, Tolu empowers patients to actively participate in their treatment plans, ultimately enhancing their quality of life. The practice offers telepsychiatry making it convenient for patients to access care.
Tolu is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with more than six years of experience working with patients with mental health across the lifespan. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Maryland and Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University. Tolu is experienced in treating and evaluating a broad range of psychiatric disorders including anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, anger management, bipolar, and psychotic disorders.

What forms of payment are accepted?
Medicaid, Medicare, Optum/ United Health Care, Cigna, and self-pay. Others soon to follow.
What can I anticipate in a typical visit?
Initial intake is an hour in length and follow-up visits are usually 30 minutes. Could be shorter or longer depending on the need.
Do I need to complete the intake paperwork before the visit?
Yes. Intake information must be completed 24 hours before the appointment.
Can you prescribe controlled substances?
Yes, medications are prescribed after evaluation and completion of lab work. Benzodiazepines will not be prescribed for long-term treatment.
